Calorie Carb Diet Low

A low calorie carb diet which is low in fruits and vegetables may sometimes cause health problems.Dieting too seriously may also cause trouble.Intake of fruits,vegetables,protein rich foods and grains in moderate quantities can avoid health problems. If not, you might want to look for another diet. One of the problems with a diet that is too restrictive is that most people begin to feel deprived and soon become bored with the diet and quit. It is a known fact that many people lose the same five or ten pounds over and over again each time they start and stop a diet. Therefore, find a calorie carb diet low in processed foods.

We have become a very lazy country where food is concerned. We want food to be as quick and easy as possible. Hence processed foods are more popular than ever. Many people avoid the fruit and vegetable bins entirely. They prefer cans and boxed meals. If only they would realize that low carb diets are all about learning to love the freshest fruits and vegetables available.

Cooking fresh vegetable need not be such a great chore. Sautee some squash or zucchini isn’t rocket science. You put a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, heat, and sautee. Of course, some chopping is required or you could buy the already sliced variety in the superrmarket. What could be easier. You have a low calorie low carb side dish that only takes minutes to prepare.

Another great vegetable side dish is spinich. You can purchase a bag of spinich so that you don’t even have to wash it. Put some olive oil in a pan, heat, add some minced garlic that comes in a little glass container, and sautee the spinich. It is delicious and very low carb.

If you have never cooked asparagus, you are in for another very easy treat. Before you cook the asparagus, break the bottom tough part off by simply snapping the stalk. Put water in the bottom of a pan, heat, add asparagus that you have washed into the pan. Add salt and pepper and wait a few minutes while the asparagus cooks. You will be surprised at the lovely slightly nutty flavor. This is a very low carb dish with few calories. It is perfect for a low carb diet.

Fruit takes even less time. You can go to your local supermarket and buy fresh pineapple that has already been sliced or cubed. You can buy fruit salads full of blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. Other options are watermelon already sliced into cubes and cantelope and honeydo cubed together. All you have to do is buy the freshly prepared fruit, put it on a pretty plate, and you look like you spent hours in the kitchen.

Low carb cooking doesn’t have to be tough on the home cook. With supermarkets doing half the work for you, therre is no reason in the world to not try a low carb diet because you are afraid of the extra work. It may feel that way at first but when you get the hang of it, you will feel so healthy, you will never want to go back to you old habits.
